Armavia (Yerevan) is planning to lease a first A321-200 and has announced several new services: Yerevan-Berlin Tegel: 2x weekly A319-100 service starting on April 14 Yerevan-Zurich: 3x weekly A319-100 service starting on March 30 It has given up its Yerevan-Dusseldorf Intl route at the end of October. Armavia plans to use Yerevan as a transit hub for services from Europe and Russia to Central Asia and Iran and wants to lease two CRJs for regional services. It has also announced plans to add Tehran as its first Iranian destination in 2009.
