Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) to all eligible airlines, operators, aircraft owners, manufacturers and/or lessors for the dry-lease of two B737-800s on 72-month contracts respectively.

In a tender document seen by ch-aviation, the Bangladeshi carrier said the two jets must not be more than thirteen (13) years of age on October 1, 2018, the proposed start date of the contracts. Eligible aircraft must feature a total of 162 seats with twelve seats in premium and 150 in economy at the time of delivery. Biman intends to operate the jets across its domestic and international route networks.

The deadline for submissions is November 5, 2017.

Biman currently operates four B737-800s of which two are leased from GECAS.
