French Blue (Paris Orly) has confirmed it will begin scheduled flights to French Polynesia with effect from May 2018 onwards.
In a statement issued shortly after the proposed service secured the Pacific archipelago government's consent, the Groupe Dubreuil unit said its Paris Orly-Papeete via San Francisco service would operate 2x weekly initially growing to 3x weekly during the high season. Operations are onboard A350-900 equipment.
The France-Tahiti market is currently the preserve of Air France and Air Tahiti Nui.
