EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) has taken delivery of its first B777-F following the arrival of B-16781 (msn 62824) in Taipei Taoyuan from Everett on Wednesday, November 8. The freighter will be deployed into service on routes to Asia and North America in late November.

EVA Air has a further four of the type on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) with deliveries due by September 2019. Altogether, the B777s will replace EVA Air's current fleet of two B747-400(BDSF)s and three B747-400(FSCD)s which are due to be retired by the end of 2019.
