LATAM Airlines Group has announced plans to make its Middle Eastern debut later next year.

In a statement, the South American carrier group said that through its affiliate carriers, it will offer a 3x weekly return service from Santiago de Chile to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion, Israel, via São Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil, from the end of 2018. The launch is subject to government approval.

LATAM Airlines Group currently offers extensive connectivity throughout the Americas as well as to Africa (via LATAM Airlines Brasil), Europe (via LATAM Airlines and Brasil), and Oceania (via LATAM Airlines Chile).
