Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) will lease two Dash 8-400s from Chorus Aviation the Canadian lessor has announced in a statement.
The turboprops will be purchased new from Bombardier Aerospace (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) by a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Capital and are expected to be delivered and placed on lease to Ethiopian Airlines later next month.
Ethiopian currently operates fourteen Q400s on flights through Ethiopia as well as to Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
