Airest (AEG, Tallinn Lennart Meri) is set to acquire four CRJ200(F)s with the first to deliver during the second quarter of next year.

Passenger-to-freighter conversion specialist Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) said in a statement it would shortly induct msn 7452, formerly JA201J with J-Air (Nagoya Komaki), into its conversion facility in Florida in time to redeliver it to the Estonian freight specialist in April 2018.

Regional One will be providing the finance lease for the completed CRJ-200(SF). Once delivered, Airest will be the first European operator of the type. West Atlantic Sweden (T2, Malmö) already operates two CRJ-200(F) freighters for Posten Norge.

Airest also employs a fleet of Saab (Sweden) turboprops consisting of eight Saab 340(F)s. It also operates a single Saab 340A, ES-LSF (msn 340A-144), on passenger charter flights.
