Enter Air (E4, Warsaw Chopin) has signed an estimated USD51 million deal with Itaka Holdings for the provision of charter capacity during the Summer 2018 and Winter 2018/2019 seasons.

The current contract between Enter Air and the Polish tour operator, valid for summer 2017 and winter 2017/2018, is worth USD49 million, the carrier said in a disclosure.

The leisure specialist indicated that fees under the contract will be determined on a rolling basis. As such, the contract's definitive value can only be estimated at this point in time.

Itaka Holdings is the largest tour operator in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2016, it served 637,000 customers and recorded PLN1.8 billion zloty (USD500 million) in revenue. Aside from its home market in Poland, the group also operates in Czechia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and in the Kaliningrad Oblast, a Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania.

Earlier this year, Enter Air signed multi-million dollar deals with Poland's second and third largest tour operators by revenue, TUI Poland and Rainbow Tours.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Enter Air currently operates a fleet of sixteen B737-800s. The carrier has ordered six B737-8s, two of which are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2018. The airline operates mainly out of Warsaw Chopin, Katowice Pyrzowice, Poznan Lawica and Wroclaw. According to the Polish civil aviation authority (Urząd Lotnictwa Cywilnego), it carried 1.2 million passengers in 2016 and was the market leader in the tour operator charter segment, ahead of Travel Service Polska and Small Planet Airlines Polska.
