Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohamed V) has placed a firm order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for four B787-9s. A statement issued on December 27, 2017, said the Moroccan carrier had purchased two of the B787s in December 2016 followed by a further two aircraft this month.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, one of the aircraft is already known to be msn 64625, suggesting deliveries could take place as early as 2018.

The Moroccan flag carrier currently operates five B787-8s on scheduled services to Algeria, Senegal, Qatar, Turkey, Canada, the United States, France, and Brazil.
