Garuda Indonesia (GA, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) has taken delivery of its first B737-8 following the arrival of PK-GDA (msn 62093) in Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta on December 26, 2017.
Flightradar24 ADS-B data indicates the twinjet was positioned from Everett to Jakarta via each of Honolulu, Guam International, Biak, and Surabaya.
The Indonesian carrier has fifty of the type on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) with deliveries to run from late 2017 through to 2023. Garuda currently operates seventy-three B737-800s.
