Azur Air Ukraine (Kyiv Boryspil) has taken delivery of its first B737-900(ER) in the form UR-AZB (msn 35712), formerly PK-LFJ with Lion Air (JT, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta). Owned by DVB Bank Aviation Asset Management, the ten-year-old twinjet was positioned to Kyiv Boryspil from Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta this past weekend.
A unit of Turkish tour operator Anex Tourism Group, Azur Air Ukraine operates a pair of B737-800s on scheduled charter flights from points around Ukraine to destinations in Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, Greece, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bulgaria, and Turkey.
