Frontier Airlines (F9, Denver International) has signed long-term lease agreements with Air Lease Corporation for two new A321-200s. According to the US-based lessor, the aircraft are sourced from ALC's Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order book and will deliver during the fourth quarter of 2018.

"These additional aircraft help pave the way for us to modernize and renew our fleet while helping us build a strong foundation for the future," Barry Biffle, president and CEO for Frontier Airlines, said in a statement.

The Denver-based ULCC currently operates eighteen A319-100s, twenty-four A320-200s, seventeen A320neo, and nineteen A321-200s to 80 destinations across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, the Dominican Republic. It has a total of 180 A320neo and thirty-four A321neo on order from Airbus.
