Med-View Airline (Kano) has announced it has suspended its Lagos to Dubai International via Abuja service effective immediately.

In a statement, the carrier said its capacity provider euroAtlantic Airways (YU, Lisbon) had informed it that it did not have any available aircraft needed to service the route until March 24, 2018.

"We have shut down Dubai operation till March when our aircraft, the B767-300(ER) christened “Abeke” [5N-BQN (msn 26261)], returns from complete refurbishment [at ICAO!EGDX] in the UK. Passengers who have booked with us will be flown to their destinations via interline arrangements,” Managing Director Muneer Bankole was quoted by This Day.

Despite the shortage of aircraft, the carrier's other longhaul flights - London Gatwick and Jeddah International - will continue to operate normally, Bankole added.
