Oman Air (WY, Muscat) has taken delivery of its first B737-8 following the official handing over of A4O-MA (msn 43294) on Wednesday, January 31.

The aircraft was subsequently positioned to Muscat where it is expected to enter initial revenue service in early February on flights to Salalah domestically and Delhi International and Kuwait regionally. The aircraft will feature 162 seats with 12 in business and 150 in economy class.

Oman Air has twenty B737 MAX on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) with a further ten due from lessors.
