Winair (WM, St. Maarten) will launch three new routes out of St. Maarten on February 26, 2018, including its own maiden services to the Greater Antilles.

The new additions to the carrier's network will include Santo Domingo Las Américas in the Dominican Republic (5x weekly) and Port au Prince in Haiti (2x weekly), located within the archipelago of the Greater Antilles, as well as Curacao (7x weekly).

Currently, the carrier focuses on regional operations out of St. Maarten within the Lesser Antilles archipelago, using a fleet of DHC-6-300s. According to the ch-aviation capacity module, Winair's 2x weekly flights to Port au Prince are currently operated using a Global Aviation Operations (GE, Johannesburg O.R. Tambo) A320-200.

The new routes will be operated with ATR42 equipment chartered from Air Antilles (Pointe à Pitre). The Guadeloupian carrier already has a marketing partnership with Winair covering routes connecting St. Maarten, Fort de France, Dominica Melville Hall, San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin, and Pointe à Pitre.
