PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) has selected as eligible, bids submitted by DAE Capital and Jackson Square Aviation as part of a tender issued in December 2017 for the dry-lease of four narrowbody aircraft on six-year contracts.

Evaluation documents indicate DAE Capital proffered A320-200 msn 5371 while Jackson Square Aviation offered A319-100s msn 4327 and 4380.

Rejected bids included that by Apollo Aviation Group whose two A319s, msn 2897 and 3078, did not meet aircraft age or delivery date requirements. Likewise, four E195-E2s put forward by AerCap also did not meet the availability criterion.

As such, talks with each of DAE Capital and Jackson Square Aviation will now go ahead before a final contract is signed, if at all.
