Cobalt (Larnaca) is set to launch a new 2x weekly service out of Athens to London Gatwick, its first Western route of the Greek capital, on March 31, 2018.

The Cypriot carrier's service to Athens out of its main base at Larnaca is its trunk route, served 14x weekly. Cobalt also serves the Greek capital out of Paphos 2x weekly.

The route will become Cobalt's second service to London Gatwick following a 8x weekly service out of Larnaca.

The service will be operated with Airbus A320 equipment featuring dedicated business class with 12 seats on the aircraft in a 2-2 configuration. Cobalt has underlined in a statement that it will become the only operator connecting London and Athens offering a dedicated business class on board its planes.
