Martinair (Netherlands) (MP, Amsterdam Schiphol) will give up its Amsterdam-Miami route on October 24. It will however resume three times weekly B767-300ER service from Amsterdam to Orlando Intl on October 26 and has also announced plans to resume seasonal services to Mombasa and Zanzibar. Because of a drop in cargo demand Martinair has temporarily stored two B747-400Fs and is expected to put its remaining two other B747-400Fs into storage as well because of the drop in cargo demand. It will temporarily wet-lease two B747-400F freighters from parent KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL/Amsterdam) instead.
