Federal Air (7V, Durban Virginia) has entered into a cooperation agreement with safari lodge operator Singita that will see the use of business jets to shuttle tourists to its lodges located in Sabi Sand. It will operate a regular passenger charter route from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo to Sabi Sabi on behalf of Singita from June 1, 2018.
The route will be operated according to demand onboard either Cessna 560 XL/XLS or Cessna 510 business jets. The carrier will also provide a pick-up directly from the previous flight, separate border control facilities, and an own lounge at Johannesburg.
Federal Air will also be organising ad-hoc charters to other Singita facilities both in South Africa or in Zimbabwe using Cessna (single turboprop) C208B Grand Caravan aircraft, as well as flights to Cape Town International.
