Jordan Aviation (R5, Amman Queen Alia) has resumed scheduled passenger flights to Europe with a 2x weekly Amman Queen Alia-Kyiv Igor Sikorsky, Ukraine service having started on March 18. Operations are on-board B737-300 equipment.

The Jordanian carrier, which is more renowned for its ACMI/charter operations, operated the route until 2016 when intense competition from Ukraine International Airlines (PS, Kyiv Boryspil) and UM Air (Kyiv Boryspil) forced its exit from the market.

Aside from the Ukrainian capital, Jordan Aviation also operates to Aqaba locally and to Baghdad, Antalya, Cairo International, and Sharm el Sheikh internationally on a scheduled basis. On its online booking portal it also lists Bucharest Henri Coanda and Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen as destinations although their availability remains restricted.
