Jet Airways (JAI, Mumbai International) has confirmed it has indeed entered into an agreement with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) regarding an order for seventy-five B737 MAX jets. The disclosure was made via the Mumbai Stock Exchange on April 3.

Prior to the 2017 Paris Air Show, the Indian full-service carrier was linked to talks with Boeing over a possible order for at least fifty B737-10 aircraft to add to an existing one for seventy-five B737-8s.

As it stands, Jet Airways plans to add its first MAX 8 in June with a further ten due through March 2019.
