VLM Airlines (Antwerp) (Antwerp) will enter the domestic German market this summer with the launch of a 5x weekly return service between Cologne/Bonn and Rostock. The Fokker 50-operated flights will start on June 4. Flights will originate and terminate in Antwerp with a short stop at Cologne/Bonn airport.

“The new connection with Cologne-Bonn Airport and Rostock offers business and leisure travellers from North Rhine-Westphalia the opportunity to reach Antwerp and the coast on the Baltic Sea and other tourist destinations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region quickly and easily," Konstantijn Huys, Commercial Director of VLM Regional, said in a statement.

Inclusive of its VLM Airlines (Slovenia) (Maribor) unit, VLM operates a fleet six Fokker 50s on scheduled flights from Antwerp to Birmingham, GB, London City, Munich, Zurich, and Maribor.
