Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has issued a Request For Proposals (RFP) to all airlines, operators, aircraft owners and/or lessors for the supply of two aircraft to be wet-leased over the Hajj period covering July 11 to September 24, 2018.

According to tender documents seen by ch-aviation, eligible aircraft must be configured with between 300-330 seats in a two-class layout and must not be more than 20 years old as in July 2018.

In return, Biman is offering a guaranteed minimum of 700 Block Hours (BH) per aircraft for the duration of the contract.

Submissions are due by April 18, 2018.

According to the ch-aviation fleets database, Biman has already wet-leased a B777-300 from Malaysian ACMI/charter operator flyGlobal Charter (FGG, Kuala Lumpur International) on an eight-month contract to run select services from Bangladesh to each of Kuwait, Doha Hamad International, Kuala Lumpur International, and Muscat.
