ACE Air Cargo Europe (Liège) is a prospective Belgium-based start-up carrier looking to offer regular and charter international cargo flights out of its Liège base.

Affiliated with Israeli carrier CAL Cargo Air Lines (Tel Aviv Ben Gurion), ACE said in its application to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for exemption authority and a foreign air carrier permit, that it was currently in the process of securing its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and Operating License (OL) from the Belgian civil aviation regulator.

Once obtained, it will initially operate ACMI services on behalf of other airlines from Liege to points in the United States, including New York JFK and Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, pursuant to wet lease agreements with those parties.

"ACE plans to expand its service at a later date, and will ultimately operate both scheduled and charter all-cargo service to the United States using its own aircraft in the future," it said.
