easyJet (U2, London Luton) has confirmed that its easyJet UK (U2, London Luton) subsidiary has now secured a UK Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) as part of the low-cost carrier's plans to immunize itself from any potential Brexit fall-out.

In its 1H18 financial filing, easyJet said it intends to transfer its UK-based fleet to this new AOC in June.

Going forward, easyJet's London Luton-based Group Operations will continue to support all three of its AOCs which, aside from easyJet UK, include the EU-based easyJet Europe (EJU, Vienna) and easyJet Switzerland (DS, Geneva).
