WOW air (Reykjavik Keflavik) has announced it has chosen India for its inaugural Asian destination. In a statement issued on Tuesday, May 15, the Icelandic budget carrier said it would offer a 3x weekly return service between its Reykjavik Keflavik hub and Delhi International effective December 5. Operations are on-board A330-900 equipment.
WOW air specializes in transatlantic operations serving both North America and Europe with a fleet of two A320ceo, one A320neo, twelve A321ceo, one A321neo, and three A330-300s. It is expecting to add its first of four A330neo towards year-end.
