Buta Airways (Baku Heydar Aliev International) is planning to end E170 operations with its only remaining aircraft of the type - the 16-year-old 4K-AZ52 (msn 17000002) - to be removed from service shortly. According to ch-aviation analysis of FlightRadar24 ADS-B data, the aircraft has last been active on May 19.

An airline statement to the Trend news agency said the outgoing jet would be replaced with a seventh E190 followed by an eighth in mid-2019.

A unit of AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines (J2, Baku Heydar Aliev International), Buta Airways operates an all-Embraer fleet on low-fare flights spanning 12 destinations in Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Georgia.
