ImagineAir (Lawrenceville) has suspended flight operations as of May 24 citing liquidity shortages. In an email sent out to customers, the Georgia-based Cirrus SR22 specialist said its leadership and advisors had been unable to secure neither the necessary short-term funding to continue operations nor the long-term funding needed to scale the company to profitability.

It added that the airline's leadership and current investors weren’t abandoning the firm and would work as expeditiously as possible to protect the interests of its employees, customers, investors, and vendors.

ImagineAir had operated fourteen Cirrus SR22s and had intended to use the added funding to double its fleet in a bid to establish itself as a major player in the US East Coast air taxi service market.
