Air Arabia Maroc (3O, Casablanca Mohamed V) has confirmed it will expand its domestic Moroccan footprint over the coming six months with flights connecting Casablanca Mohamed V, Nador Arwi, Marrakech, and Rabat.

At present, the Air Arabia (G9, Sharjah) unit deploys the bulk of its capacity on flights between Morocco and Europe with Fes Saïss-Marrakech its only internal route.

However, effective June 22, the LCC will offer 2x weekly flights between Casablanca and Nador while from October 28, it will offer a 4x weekly Casablanca-Dakhla (Western Sahara/Saharawi) service all using A320-200 equipment.

Also on October 28, Air Arabia Maroc will start a 4x weekly service between Agadir and Rabat, again using A320-200 equipment.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, Royal Air Maroc (AT, Casablanca Mohamed V) controls 91.03% of the domestic Moroccan market with 33,915 seats/week while Air Arabia Maroc, in contrast, controls just 2.8% (1,044 seats/week).
