Kam Air (RQ, Kabul) has acquired its first B767-300(ER) with YA-KMR (msn 25534) having been ferried to Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen for painting, Skyliner Aviation has reported. The 25.4-year-old Boeing twinjet was formerly in service for Ukraine's Aerosvit Airlines (Kyiv Boryspil) as UR-AAH.

Kam Air currently has a single B767-200, which is inoperative. It also operates two A340-300s, one B737-300, two B737-500s (of which one is wet-leased from Ukrainian Wings), and two MD-87s. It operates scheduled flights to towns and cities across Afghanistan as well as Iran, Turkey, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
