Hamilton, ON will see its first intercontinental services in March next year following Norwegian's announcement that it will start a daily return service to Dublin International, Ireland.

The Scandinavian LCC said in a statement the non-stop flights would start on March 31, 2019, using B737-8 equipment operated by its Norwegian Air International (Dublin International) unit.

Hamilton's John C. Munro International Airport serves as a gateway to the Canadian metropolis of Toronto as well as Buffalo, New York, and Niagara Falls. Aside from extensive domestic Canadian connectivity, its only international passenger flights operate to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the United States, and Cuba.
