Kalitta Charters II (K5, Detroit Willow Run) has acquired its first B737-500 with Skyliner Aviation reporting that N375CK (msn 28084) arrived in Oscoda from Lourdes/Tarbes via Shannon, Gander and Portsmouth on Saturday, June 30.
The former Air Méditerranée twinjet was acquired by Kalitta during the bankrupt French carrier's recent fire sale.
Kalitta Charters II currently operates a fleet of five B727-200(F)s, one B737-300(F), four B737-400(F)s, two DC-9-10(F)s, and one DC-9-30(F) on dedicated cargo flights.
