Air Peace (P4, Lagos) has signed a partnership agreement with the Benue State Government for the launch of scheduled passenger flights out of the state's capital, Makurdi.
In a statement, the privately-owned Nigerian carrier said flights to Markudi from each of Lagos and Abidjan would be operated by its Air Peace Hopper (P4, Lagos) unit using E145 regional jets. Service is expected to start in the coming weeks.
Markudi does not, at present, see largescale commercial flight operations with passenger forced to use Enugu located around 180 kilometres away.
