EWA Air (ZD, Dzaoudzi) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) for the acquisition of two ATR72-600s.
The turboprops will by year-end and will replace and upgrade the Air Austral (UU, St. Denis de la Réunion) unit's two ATR72-500s.
EWA Air is based out of Mayotte and currently serves Anjouan and Moroni International in the Comoros, Antsiranana, Majunga, and Nosy-Be in Madagascar, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and Pemba, MZ in Mozambique.
