LEVEL (Barcelona El Prat) has ordered two more A330-200s from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) taking its overall backlog for the type to seven. The widebody jets will feature 314 passenger seats in total, including 21 in premium economy and 293 in economy.
The IAG International Airlines Group low-cost virtual carrier brand currently operates four A330-200s from its long-haul bases at each of Barcelona El Prat and Paris Orly. The new A330-200s will deliver in 2019 and will be split between the two cities, thus bringing their respective totals to four aircraft in Barcelona and three in Paris.
LEVEL also operates four A321-200s via its Anisec Luftfahrt (Vienna) production carrier in Austria.
