Proav Charters (Ocala International) withdrew its application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity under to engage in interstate and foreign charter air transportation to the US Department of Transportation.

A subsidiary of Proav Management (Ocala International), Proav Charters submitted its original application on June 25, 2018. It said at the time that it intends to use four aircraft managed by its parent, namely three Cessna 560 XL/XLSs and one PC-12, for charter flights across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

It follows from the published e-mail correspondence between Dean Gibb, owner of Proav Management, and the DOT representatives that the carrier now intends to register as an Air Taxi operator.
