Canadian North (5T, Yellowknife) has added a maiden Dash 8-300 to its fleet, ch-aviation analysis has revealed. Formerly V2-LET (msn 416) with LIAT (Antigua and Barbuda) (Antigua), the 22-year-old turboprop was added to Canadian North's books as C-GJCN in early July.

It has since been deployed into service alongside the carrier's other fleet which includes two Dash 8-100s, two B737-200(M)s, eight B737-300s, and two B737-300(QC)s.

Canadian North runs regular flights to 18 towns across Canada's northern regions from bases in Calgary, Edmonton International, and Yellowknife.
