Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) is continuing with its network expansion: Moscow Domodedovo-Cancun: weekly seasonal B777-200ER service operating until March 11 Moscow Domodedovo-Ho Chi Minh City: 2x weekly seasonal B747-200 service between October 28 and March 27 Moscow Domodedovo-Magnitogorsk: 3x weekly B737-500 service has started on December 7 Moscow Domodedovo-Novy Urengoy: 3x weekly B737-300/-500 service has started on November 30 Moscow Domodedovo-Phuket: 10x weekly seasonal B747-200/B767-300ER/B777-200ER service operating until March 27 St. Petersburg-Phuket: weekly seasonal B767-200ER service operating until March 27 St. Petersburg-Tokyo Narita: weekly seasonal B767-300ER service resuming on May 27 St. Petersburg-Vladivostok: weekly B767-300ER service starting on May 21 It has however given up its St. Petersburg-Munich route on January 16. Transaero is planning to add a B777-200, two B737-800s and four B737-500sin 2010 and has also announced plans to launch new routes from Moscow Domodedovo to Beijing, Miami and New York later in the year. It is also considering acquiring seven additional B747-400s over the course of the next three years to replace its remaining B747-200s and B747-300s. Transaero has already retired four of its six B747-200s last fall.
