Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) has outlined its early B787-9 deployment plans ahead of the arrival of its first of 25 aircraft of the type in 2019.

According to schedule data, the Star Alliance member plans to use the Dreamliners to offer a 2x weekly service to Denpasar, Indonesia starting July 17, 2019, growing to a 3x weekly service from August 8. On that same day, the B787s will also be deployed on a 3x weekly service to Washington Dulles.

Further revisions to this schedule remain possible.

According to its financials, Turkish Airlines has twenty-five B787-9s on order from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) of which six are due in 2019, nine in 2020, six in 2021, and four in 2022. They will seat 300 passengers with 30 in business and 270 in economy class.
