ExecuJet Air Charter (EXD, Johannesburg Lanseria) has announced it will be the first African operator of PC-24 business jet with the delivery planned for October 2018. The aircraft will be based out of Cape Town International and deployed on corporate charters across southern Africa.
The operator, a subsidiary of Luxaviation (LXA, Luxembourg), said the aircraft would be able to reach Angola, Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique out of Cape Town. Operating out of the carrier's main South African base at Johannesburg Johannesburg Lanseria airport, its range will be sufficient to serve the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, and Mauritius.
ExecuJet manages 165 business jets, turboprops, and helicopters worldwide. Its South African unit manages one Challenger 300, one Challenger 350, one Hawker Beechcraft 4000, one Hawker 125, one Learjet 60, one Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, one Bombardier Aerospace Challenger 601, one Challenger 604, one Challenger 850 (CRJ200), one Falcon 50, one Hawker 400A, four Learjet 45s, one Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350, four Beech King Air B200s, eight PC-12s, and seven helicopters.
