NCA - Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ, Tokyo Narita) has announced in a press release that it planned to resume scheduled operations to North America on September 28 operating between Tokyo Narita and Chicago O'Hare via Anchorage Ted Stevens.
Following the temporary suspension of all operations between June 17 and July 4, 2018, over maintenance log discrepancies, NCA has so far only resumed two routes from Narita, namely to Hong Kong International and Shanghai Pudong.
The cargo specialist now said that "the rest of the aircraft operation will resume in sequence as soon as the aircraft safety is confirmed and the preparation for flight is completed."
Prior to the suspension, NCA had also served Amsterdam Schiphol, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Dallas/Fort Worth, Frankfurt Hahn, Los Angeles International, Milan Malpensa, New York JFK, Osaka Kansai, San Francisco, Singapore Changi, and Taipei Taoyuan, according to the ch-aviation schedules module.
It currently operates a single B747-400(F) and two B747-8(F)s with a further two B747-400 and six B747-8 freighters still undergoing maintenance at Narita International Airport near Tokyo and at Hong Kong's International Airport, ch-aviation fleets data shows.
