Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) has revealed during the ERA 2018 General Assembly in Edinburgh that an undisclosed Spanish customer has ordered a total of up to five E195-E2s.
The Brazilian manufacturer said the original Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed during the 2018 Farnborough Air Show. As such, the now firm commitment consists of three firm ordered EMB195-E2s and two purchase rights. The firm ordered jets are due to deliver in 2019.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Aeronova is the only operator, at present, of Embraer Regional Jets in Spain with eleven E195s in service for Air Europa under the Air Europa Express banner.
