American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) will terminate its services from Erie Tom Ridge, PA, to Philadelphia International on May 2, 2019, instead launching new services from the Pennsylvanian city to its other hubs at Charlotte International and Chicago O'Hare, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed.

The carrier currently serves the Erie-Philadelphia route 13x weekly. The flights are operated by Piedmont Airlines (PT, Salisbury, MD) with E145 equipment.

Following the readjustment, American Airlines will offer 14 flights per week to Charlotte and seven to Chicago. Both routes will be operated with E145 equipment by Piedmont Airlines and Envoy Air (MQ, Dallas/Fort Worth), respectively.

Erie also sees Delta Air Lines services to Detroit Metropolitan and United Airlines flights to Chicago O'Hare.
