United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) has taken delivery of its first of fourteen B787-10s following the arrival of N14001 (msn 40936) at Washington Dulles from Charleston International on Tuesday, November 6.

The twinjet is powered by General Electric GEnx-1B76A/P2 motors and features 44 business class seats, 21 Premium Plus seats, 54 Economy Plus seats, and 199 standard Economy seats. It is expected to enter service between New York Newark and Los Angeles International on January 7, 2019, followed by Newark to San Francisco on February 14, 2019.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, United operates twelve B787-8s and twenty-five B787-9s.
