NCA - Nippon Cargo Airlines (KZ, Tokyo Narita) has completed the retirement of its fleet of three B747-400(FSCD)s as per an August restructuring programme aimed at ensuring the airline's continued compliance with Japanese safety regulations.

Skyliner Aviation reports msn 36133 and 36135 were ferried from Tokyo Narita to Victorville for storage earlier this month. They will likely be joined by msn 36132 which ended commercial flights on October 31.

As it stands, NCA's fleet now consists of eight B747-8(F)s of which five are now active. The remaining three are still undergoing maintenance checks as mandated by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism (MLITT).
