Philippine Airlines (PR, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has announced it will cancel select domestic and regional flights from Manila Ninoy Aquino International between November 12 and November 23 due to the closure of the airport's runways for maintenance works.

Runway 13/31, the shorter of the two runways, will be closed daily between 0000LT and 0500LT for the periods of November 12-17 and November 20-22.

Among the affected flights are services from Manila to Davao, Hong Kong International, Singapore Changi, and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.

Separately, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed that Philippine Airlines will launch a new domestic route from Angeles City Clark International to Antique in the south-west of Panay Island on December 16, 2018, becoming the first commercial operator at the latter airport. Flights are due to operate 2x weekly with PAL Express' Dash 8-400s.
