TUI Airways (BY, London Luton) has taken delivery of its maiden B737-8 in the form of G-TUMA (msn 44593), which was ferried from Seattle Boeing Field directly to Brussels National on November 16-17, 2018.

The Boeing narrowbody is yet to be deployed into revenue service with the TUI Group airline. It will eventually be based out of Manchester International.

The British unit of the group currently operates twenty-nine B737-800s, as well as thirteen B757-200s, four B767-300(ER)s, eight B787-8s, and four B787-9s.

B737 MAX 8s have already been deployed with sister airline TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National), which operates four units of the type. The Belgian carrier also has five B737-700s, sixteen -800s, one B767-300(ER), two B787-8s, and three E190s.

Swedish unit TUI fly Nordic (6B, Stockholm Arlanda) also already operates a single B737-8, while neither TUI fly (Germany) (X3, Hannover) nor TUI fly (Netherlands) (OR, Amsterdam Schiphol) have any of the newest generation Boeing narrowbodies in operation.
