GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (G3, São Paulo Congonhas) has signed operating lease agreements with Avolon covering eleven B737-8s. According to the Brazilian LCC, the aircraft are sourced from the lessor's Boeing (BOE, Washington National) order book and will deliver from the second half of 2019 onwards.

"GOL will maintain its capacity discipline, and the decision to accelerate its fleet renewal maintains the flexibility of its fleet plan," it said in a statement. "The accelerated fleet renewal will not alter GOL’s planned capacity, as the Company will simultaneously return and/or sell B737 Next Generation (NG) aircraft under operating and finance leases."

GOL has orders for 105 B737 MAX 8s (of which three have so far been delivered) as well as thirty B737-10s.
