NokScoot (Bangkok Don Mueang) is set to launch a 4x weekly service from Bangkok Don Mueang to Delhi International on December 18, 2018, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed. The route will be NokScoot's maiden westbound service.

The Thai long-haul low-cost, a joint venture between Nok Air and Singapore Airlines Group, currently focusses exclusively on serving East Asia with scheduled routes to Taipei Taoyuan, Nanjing, Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, Qingdao Jiaodong, Tianjin, and Shenyang Taoxian International.

NokScoot currently operates five B777-200(ER)s.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, the India-Thailand market is a fiercely competitive one with as many as thirteen passenger airlines (including NokScoot) offering scheduled flights between the countries. The market leaders are Thai Airways International, IndiGo Airlines, Thai AirAsia, and Jet Airways.
