Republic Airways Holdings has announced it has firmed up a tentative order with Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos Professor Urbano Ernesto Stumpf) for 100 E175 jets.
The purchase was first announced during the 2018 Farnborough Airshow as a Letter of Intent (LOI) and includes purchase rights for an additional 100 E175s, with conversion rights to the E175-E2.
Deliveries will start in the second half of 2020.
Republic Airlines (Indianapolis International) is a production carrier and currently operates a total of 129 EMB-175s and sixty E170s for and on behalf of American Airlines as American Eagle, for Delta Air Lines as Delta Connection, and for United Airlines as United Express.
